"Those Gold Diggers are back again!"
Angela Twitchell wants to work for her father, the toothpaste magnate Rufus Twitchell, but he is stuck with old-fashioned ideas. He still believes that women and successful entrepreneurship do not go together and is not open to innovation. When he refuses to hear a new proposal from Angela, she decides to go with the inventor to the competitor, Schmidts' Kleen-White. Schmidt does see potential in the idea of toothpaste with a cocktail flavor. Angela goes there as a sales representative under the name Mary Smith and takes on her father and his top salesman Pat O'Connor.
