Amália plot
Amalia Rodrigues is without doubt the most famous fado singer of the last century. This biography begins one night in New York in 1984. Her most intimate memories are then brought to the surface: her parents' untimely divorce, her mother's indifference and the death of her sister Aninha. Her passion for Francisco Cruz, an amateur guitarist, her international success, and the end of a forced marriage mean that she has to grow up way too early.
