Jo lane (Al Jolson) a radio star neglects his wife Katherine (Maria Nixon) and son "Little Pal". When his manager approaches Katharine, he kills him in a brawl and is sent to jail. Katherine pledges allegiance to him, but then she meets a handsome young surgeon and love blossoms. On the day Jo is released, his son has a serious accident, the young surgeon saves the boy's life...
