"HE TURNED KILLER...for one day!"
Judge James Edward Scott sentences a murderer to the death penalty. Four of his friends come to town to free the man. Citizens and Sheriff Barney Wiley want to take it easy and wonder if one hanging will be worth so much bloodshed, but the judge refuses to let the killer go. Aided only by Sam Wyckoff, the judge takes on the gang.
