"ROMANCE AND EXCITEMENT...DOWN MEXICO WAY!"
Gene Autry and Frog are chasing a gang of cattle thieves. They find out that some of these crooks killed two deputies and changed clothes with the deputies. Gene and Frog, in turn, don the clothes of the thieves, hoping to catch the gang leader. They get back on track after being rescued from a group of civilians looking for the cattle thieves, and Gene and his friend mistake two of them. Then suddenly the two crooks show up, now dressed as deputies, with the result that Gene and Frog end up in prison.
