The Living Idol plot

"Amazing Adventure Beneath the Curse of the Jaguar God!"

dr. Alfred Stones is an archaeologist working in Mexico. He thinks that the Native American maid Juanita is a reincarnation of an Aztec princess, who was sacrificed centuries earlier to appease the jaguar gods. To prove he's right, he releases a jaguar to see what happens when it attacks Juanita.
