Tom Kittredge is an attractive young tower builder who is working on a very tall new tower. John's partner in this project is brooding Harry "Stretch" Clay, who is newly married to the beautiful Mary "The Babe" Thompson. The Babe is known for having many secret romances and she immediately catches Tom's attention. That makes Stretch very suspicious again. Then a murder is committed on the building, which initially looked like an accident. Tom becomes suspicious.
