Baby Ryazanskie plot
Russia 1914. Shortly before the outbreak of the First World War, it appears that the otherwise quiet life in the Russian village of Riasan is suddenly turned upside down. The men of the stepsisters Anna and Wassilia have to serve at the front. With the summons, the lives of the two women change enormously, as does that of the other villagers.
