Open Season 2 is slightly less than its predecessor.

From minute 1 I had the feeling that much less attention has been paid to this, it does not look finished.

It seems as if the animations are much less beautiful than the 1st part, that they have made it a rush job. Little eye for detail and some characters look a bit faded.

What is not less about this part is the humor, from minute 1 there are plenty of good jokes in this film.

The characters are all okay, the downside here I think is mainly the number of characters, little time to highlight a few (as in part 1), so a lot of them remain mostly superficial, despite their leading roles.

The story isn't brilliant, of course, but it's simple enough to entertain.

So despite the much lesser animations and the simple story, there remains an entertaining animation film with here and there delicious dry humor.

Less fun than part 1.

The previous Open Season had some nice moments, but they have completely disappeared here. Moreover, the voice quality has now also been taken over by B voice actors and the tempo is just a little too fast to enjoy. Not really recommended.

Poor rendition of "Open Season". Nothing innovative, the added dog group has little added value for me (only that scrawny demented cat was nice), because they were rarely funny.
The bunnies remain cute, as does Mr. Weenie, McSquizzy & Elliot. The fight at the end is still somewhat entertaining. It wasn't clear to me if there were visual differences from part 1, but it certainly wasn't any better.

They should have left it at part 1, but now I even have to watch part 3, because now it has become a triptych .
