Completely crazy plot, with just about the entire cast as suspect, voyeur, killer with razor and leather gloves, at least one transvestite, lots of nudy scenes of the ladies and homosexuals who smell flowers all day long? And we score again in full on the giallo score. Not much Italy by the way, because after a start in Paris we quickly move to the UK and two Scotland Yard inspectors are allowed to untangle the whole thing.
Very nice giallo by the way, despite only one really bloody murder scene, but for the lovers of close-ups of eye surgeries there is probably still something to enjoy, but then I always look the other way.

Moderate thriller (much like an average episode from the Derrick krimi series) but very stylishly portrayed with beautiful photography and elegant actors. I certainly didn't find this scary.

Bizarre story full of typical giallo moments such as voyeurism, killer with razor and leather gloves, erotic scenes, ... but when it comes to kills you are left hungry. There is only one real gory murder in the film. This one is brutally executed.
The film mainly has to rely on the whodunit and the atmosphere rather than the kills. The story and the way to the denouement is cleverly put together, but there are still some weird scenes like the ice being tied around a corpse and the implausible performance where the killer appears in the hallway after killing the the doctor's wife. The soft erotic scenes with Scott, the many nasty characters and the two police inspectors provide the necessary lightness, which slows down the story a bit and reduces the tension. The fact of the killer with the bright blue eyes enhanced the giallo atmosphere, although more could have been done here. 6/10
