The Crime of the Century plot
"He Couldn't Stop Himself from Committing the Crime of the Century"
The physicist Dr. Emil Brandt will do anything to please his young and second wife Frieda. Frieda wants more money. Emil manages this by hypnotizing a bank employee and letting him collect $100,000. Emil then plans to kill and rob the bank employee. In time, Emil comes to his senses and confesses his plans to the police and vows to return the money. Then it turns out that the bank employee has been robbed and murdered.
