In "The Ballad of Ramblin' Jack," daughter Aiyana Elliott portrays legendary folk musician Ramblin' Jack Elliott. Ramblin' Jack was born in 1932 to a Jewish doctor in Brooklyn. He has roamed and experienced a lot as one of the last singing cowboys. At 15 he ran away from home to work at the rodeo, toured and performed with Woody Guthrie, and befriended the young Bob Dylan, to whom he became a mentor.
