The China Lake Murders plot
"Every year, Officer Donnelly goes to China Lake to unwind, do a little fishing... Kill a few people"
Donnelly is a corrupt urban cop who vacations every year in China Parks, an unsightly desert town south of Los Angeles. He indulges himself there as the conscientious servant who stops motorists and leaves them alone in the barren wasteland for minor transgressions. He encounters the new Sheriff Sam Brodie, who initially thinks he's a suitable guy, but eventually suspects him of causing a crazy, gruesome and ruthless carnage along the Highway.
