"A Weird Death Sentence from the Mystic East!"
Two private detectives Jack Packard and Doc Long are hired by the nervous and wealthy Jefferson Monk, who lives in mortal fear of being beheaded. Monk has received a strange cryptic letter from an Asian secret society, announcing his imminent death. However, the initiator of this letter is Monk's wife Ellen, who hopes that her husband will commit suicide and that she will inherit Monks millions.
