The Love Guru plot

"His Karma is Huge"

Pitka was raised in India by gurus, but when he reaches adulthood he moves to America to pursue a career in the world of spiritualism. However, his unorthodox methods are tested when he must reunite hockey player Darren Roanoke with his wife, who left him for a rival sportsman.

I do not get it. Think it's a great movie. Saw it in the cinema, and then 2 more times on DVD and on TV. It's (intended as) a complete over-the-top parody of a whole range of movies I think, and when you look at it that way, I think it's very doable. Okay, the humor is a bit bland here and there, but there are also really good jokes. The beep-beep-beep when reversing the magic carpet, really great.

Maybe I'm just good at mike myers' humor. He's a bit like Roger from american dad to me (I'm a mega fan of Roger). Besides, when I see myers acting, I always think of (films with) rob steiner, and myers acts so much better and more fun than rob steiner will ever do.
