Här Har Du Ditt Liv plot
Fourteen-year-old Olof leaves his foster family in search of work. He wants to stand on his own two feet. In order to earn a living, he takes various jobs as a woodcutter, bricklayer, poster plasterer, sawmill and candy seller. At one point he manages to join a traveling film company and become a projectionist there. As he gains experience in many fields of work and working conditions there, Olof joins the trade union and joins a new socialist movement that works to improve the situation for workers in rural areas.

This chronicle of a young man seeking freedom, independence, and betterment of his life is Scandinavian and slow, but beautifully told, with downright clever visual compositions: the landscape, the weathered faces, and some beautiful scenes, of which I will especially remember the mischievous, somewhat mischievous cycling lesson.
