What a delightful screwball comedy! Cary Grant shines in his role as the artist who gets saddled with a young lady in love who is far too young for him. Hilarious moments include the picnic, where Grant acts like an exuberant schoolboy, and the scene in the restaurant, which was supposed to be a romantic dinner for two, but where just about everyone involved shows up.
I hadn't seen a Cary Grant movie in a while, but wow, what a formidable actor he was. Here too, he gives a stellar performance!

There is little wrong with this post-war screwball comedy, thanks to the infectious performances of Cary Grant, Myrna Loy, and teeny Shirley Temple. By the looks of it, they are all having a lot of fun in their roles. The result is a pleasant film with a simple but fun story by Sidney Sheldon, which was awarded an Oscar for Best Screenplay. Very amusing.
