"This holiday season taste the love"
JJ, a young and ambitious food critic is about to take a big step forward in her career when her mother Lee unexpectedly shows up at the door. Since her father's death, they have been estranged because her mother did not hear from her again the next Christmas. However, Lee does her best to make up for the damage, but JJ has more important things on her mind. That's when JJ gets to know the attractive chef Alex who wants her to visit and review his restaurant. He urgently needs good publicity because he is almost bankrupt. JJ makes a deal and promises to visit his restaurant, but in return he has to go out with Lee. The deal seems to be going well until JJ realizes she's starting to feel something for the charming Alex herself.
