"Imagine The World Without Our Masterpieces"

During the fascist rule of Adolf Hitler, important works of art that were mainly owned by Jews were stolen and even destroyed. Many works of art were knocked back by corruption and sold all over the world. After the Second World War until today, many works of art are sought and recovered. This documentary follows in particular the work of art "Portrait of Adèle Bloch-Bauer I" by the Austrian Gustav Klimt.
