"Her life is no fairy tale."
After her mother and stepfather are arrested, 15-year-old Vanessa Lutz decides to look for her grandmother, whom she never met. Along the way, she has car trouble and is picked up by Bob Wolverton, who works at a school for troubled boys. Slowly Bob gains Vanessa's trust, and she begins to talk about her stepfather's sexual abuse. However, then Vanessa realizes that Bob is a notorious highway killer.

The movie starts off well, but it quickly fades away. Also the fact that the makers wanted to make it into a kind of modern Little Red Riding Hood, I didn't really like. I usually like to see Reese Witherspoon busy, but in this film I didn't find them believable at all as the tough chick. Kiefer Sutherland does what it's supposed to do, but I've also seen him at work in better roles.

A very good movie with bad-ass chick Reese Witherspoon (always wearing a red jacket or skirt) who beats up Kiefer Sutherland. What else do you need

Couldn't taste this one. Hardcore and vulgar version of Little Red Riding Hood with a lot of stupid violence that inevitably ends up with grandma. This movie wants to be a lot but didn't think it really worked on any level.
