Jonas is a con artist who earns his living as a faith healer, using every possible trick to get people to his show. Jonas and his team travel around the country, stopping in all sorts of places to perform their show. When one of the trucks breaks down in a small town, Jonas takes on the challenge of earning money there. In the village he encounters Marva, a waitress he wants to seduce, and Will the sheriff, who is determined to expose Jonas.
