A successful lawyer must defend a powerful and shady figure, but that becomes increasingly difficult for him. He meets a public relations woman who resigned after a minister demanded that she sleep with him in order to make a 'deal', which she refused. The lawyer falls in love with her and decides not to defend his client anymore.
