Kagerô-za plot
Second installment in the Taisho trilogy. Actor Matsuzaki (Yusaku Matsuda) meets a beautiful woman on his way to the hospital. She tells him that a friend is dying and begs Matsuzaki to accompany her, because a mysterious older woman at the hospital scares her. Rumor has it that the fruit of the lantern flowers she sells are actually female souls. Matsuzaki initially refuses the beautiful woman's request, but nevertheless he becomes obsessed with her.
