Evelyn Nesbit spends a lot of time in nightclubs and goes out with rich and famous (married) men. One day she meets the rich, famous and married middle-aged architect Sanford White. She goes with him to her mother's apartment, who has left for Pittsburgh for a while. Evelyn regularly receives Sanford there, until she meets the young, spoiled and wealthy Harry Thaw. Then her mother returns.

A still-young Joan Collins who looks beautiful, but it is Farley Granger who more or less steals the show with his portrayal of the narcissistic, spoiled rich Thaw.
Otherwise a good drama, the production design (sets and costumes are beautiful) I understood that it is apparently based on a true story, the courtroom scenes could have been given a bit more time as far as I am concerned.
