Luke Barrett, who has lost his memory in an accident, does not realize that Dignus killed his wife and brother to take possession of the Barretts' land and money. Luke trusts him at first, but as he searches for his forgotten identity, he discovers the truth. He goes to Dignus' farm in hopes of getting an explanation from him. Dignus is frightened and tries to kill Luke. And then everything becomes clear in Luke's eyes...
