Il Lungo Giorno del Massacro plot

Joe Williams, formerly sheriff of the City of Kansas, was removed from office for his brutal ways and falsely charged with the murder of a few farmers, who were actually killed by the Mexican "La Muerte". Joe pursues "La Muerte" to get him to confess to his crime, but he himself is caught by the thug. The new sheriff who is also on the trail of "La Muerte" saves Joe in a hellish shooting and then Joe also saves his life. From that moment on, the new sheriff realizes that Joe couldn't have killed the two farmers. He closes one eye and releases Joe so he can cross the nearby border...
