O Agapitikos tis Voskopoulas plot

The landlord Mitros gives the shepherdess Kroustallo a golden cross as a gift to show his feelings for her. He does not know, however, that she is in love with Liakos, a young shepherd. Mitros owes his life to Liakos, because he once saved him from drowning. The cross around Kroustallo's neck causes an argument between the two men. Mitros asks for Kroustallo's hand from her mother, who used to be his childhood sweetheart. Thus the matter becomes more and more complicated.
