The gambler Ron Lewis wins the jackpot, but is attacked and robbed in the street on his way home. In self-defense, he kills a corrupt police officer and is sentenced to four years in prison. When he is released, he plans a bloody revenge on the mayor and the police commissioner who wronged him.
