Police Academy 3: Back in Training plot

"Run for cover!"

Governor Neilson has announced that he will be closing one of the two police schools for budgetary reasons. Which one should disappear depends on the report of the evaluation committee. There is a very good chance that it will be Commander Lassard's police school that will be closed down. The recruits are once again incredibly rude, naive, clumsy and undisciplined. The graduates of the police academy are called in haste. Mahoney, Tackleberry, Hightower, Hooks, Jones and Callahan must train the new batch to defeat Commander Mauser's recruits.

Error.

Strangely enough I haven't seen part 1 and 2 yet, but also strangely enough I could follow it all very easily. I get the impression that the films are separate from each other, but I can't really say that yet. Well.

Quite a bad movie. Watched it once on a lazy evening, and I liked it quite a bit. Of course it's all a bit childish and presented in a rather dull way at times. Humor that you really have to like, but I could handle it.

At times a pretty funny and wrong film, but still so much nonsense that it sometimes gets a bit boring. Some types are also very annoying.

Bit in line with the second part with the continuation of some new characters. For example, Six and Sweetchuck joining the force. Film doesn't catch on in terms of humor these days. Some funny are also just wrong like the gay bar eg.

For the rest much of the same and little innovative. Many jokes or situations return. Police Academy remains pure nostalgia. It's good to see it every once in a while, but that doesn't make it right.

So say.

Still one of the worst comedies I've ever seen. In any case, the genre is already a bit tricky: spoof movie, already the third part in a series and then again from almost 40 years ago. The end result is also similar: very bland, not nice at all. The film is full of stupid characters who are unfortunately not funny for a second. Steven Guttenberg and co also seem to have been pushed into the background a bit, although I don't have the idea that actors of his level had brought much success.
