In the end, the world was able to kill itself, only Australia has been spared for the time being. But a gigantic poison cloud is slowly but surely drifting towards that continent. So it's only a matter of time before the Australians also succumb. Under the authority of Cpt. Towers (Armand Assante), an American submarine enters Australian waters.
