Vremya Zhatvy plot

The life of a rural family after the Second World War. Because her legless husband has returned from the front, Antonina has to earn a living on the collective farm on her own. She is so obsessed with reaping the crops that she is named the Best Combine Harvester Operator of the Year by the State. She is festively presented with the coveted red velvet banner, a symbol of communism. But soon mice and moths nibble at the fabric and the flag gets smaller and smaller every year.
