"One life ends. Seven others begin."
The body of a girl is found just outside Los Angeles. This has a major impact on the lives of several people. The woman who found the girl and lives as a prisoner with her mother, the supermarket clerk who takes her in and the forensic expert at the morgue who thinks the dead person is her sister. But then the girl is identified and her mother is immediately informed. She sets out to reconstruct the last days of her daughter's life.

Reasonable film about five women who all have something to do with a dead girl who has been found. The different stories are lightly connected and are told one by one. A bit slow and the film also has a rather dark atmosphere. Also a great cast. Just not 3.5 stars.

Hmm, found it a bit slow at first and the first story wasn't that interesting, but luckily the movie got better. Especially the part about the woman and the last part are the most interesting.
Fortunately, the cast did well and it was nice to see Brittany Murphy at work again.
In the end, not such a long film and well worth seeing, but a bit of a shame about the slow start.
