I thought this was an okay movie. It doesn't get really funny anywhere and this isn't anything special in terms of film (although CCR on the soundtrack is always good), but Carell does a great job, pace is fine, locations are atmospheric and it's nice that at the end he is right too and a deluge comes. Really such a movie that is nice to watch from the couch, but does nothing for me beyond that. But sometimes you don't need more. 3.0*.
