Nick of Time plot
Gene Watson arrives in Los Angeles with his daughter after attending his ex-wife's funeral. His daughter is kidnapped, and the kidnappers demand that Gene kill someone in exchange for his daughter's life. It will be a race against time.

Pre 24 (season 1 Gaines asks jack to kill Senator Palmer or else his wife and daughter will be killed.) real time thriller starring Johnny Depp as a single father who goes to a work appointment with his daughter. They are unexpectedly picked up by Christopher Walken who plays a {probably} corrupt cop and her partner played by 90s character actress Roma Mafia. They go to a black van in which Walken's character tells him to kill an unknown woman within an hour and a half or his daughter will be killed.
John Badham makes very entertaining movies think Saturday Night Fever, Wargames, Stakeout with Nick of time Badham tries it with suspense in real time. And he does that very well. Film does not stand still you are captivated from start to finish, cool steadcam shots and walking with her that ala Bill Murray in Kingpin. Depp is good in his role but would have liked a little more character development. Nick of Time is perfect for a Sunday afternoon or when you only have an hour and a half

A man is forced to commit a murder within an hour and a half, otherwise his daughter will die... A thriller presented in real-time. Sometimes exciting and with some action, but by nothing about the motive for this attack, the makers miss out on many opportunities to make the film more interesting. A lesser role choice by Depp, a cliché role for Walken make this a one-time viewing (although it is a second viewing for the undersigned after seeing him in the cinema).

Fairly exciting thriller with good roles by Depp and Walken. Some critical notes here and there about how they ultimately approach it, for example, that Depp still gets the chance to gain power over the ''higher'' power. The movie looked good.
