As many have said, part 2 was more fun than part 1. I agree with this. There was more tension and the humor was of a slightly higher level.
As for the movie itself, the acting was again very depressing, as in my earlier report on Garfield the Movie I will repeat here too, a combination between a 3D animated creature and real people does not work. That turned out to be the case here too.
Finally, the film seemed like a rehash of the Babe & Animal Farm films. So I had a hard time watching this movie.
Not enough.

Almost acceptable. In any case, this film has two nice actors in the form of Billy Connolly and Lucy Davis, while the script is a lot more consistent and focused than was the case with the first film. That Bill Murray has returned for this film does surprise me, I did not expect that after his criticism of the first film he would still feel like subjecting himself to not very interesting humor again.
But hey, at least it all looked easy. Garfield's special effects were still not bad, it didn't last long and a few times (the Silence of the Lambs reference) I still laughed quite a bit. Still far from good, but it's another step in the right direction.
