Over the Hedge plot

"Get over it."

The mischievous and vocal raccoon RJ (Willis) ends up in a forest with other animals living under old-fashioned conditions. However, RJ becomes fascinated with the environment beyond the hedge at the edge of that forest and tries to apply his own logic to it when observing it. Everyone is encouraged by him and together they make frantic efforts to penetrate 'the suburb'. This works reasonably well. But to make the final blow and steal a large shipment of food, they have to take a lot of risks.

Aah, nice animation from Dreamworks. Not so slick, but very entertaining with fun action-packed sequences. Humor is not very great, sometimes very forced. But ahead of the plot that wild animals from the forest together with a raccoon are on a food hunt in the large human world is nicely explained.
