The next day I don't remember much about this movie. The only thing that stayed with me is that during the quarrels that the parents fought in front of their children, I wondered whether this would not cause great damage to the children or whether they would immediately start wetting the bed from fear or something like that.

I seriously wonder why people like to watch a movie with visible child suffering because of constantly self-centered parents. Now if there was anything else of value in the story.....

Romantic? Comical? Uh, no.

You probably have to have been through a divorce yourself - in my case 2 - to fully empathize with this movie. This is indeed not the kind of film that is made for Bruce Willis, but he does not do a bad job, although I also prefer to see him in an action film. In the beginning it was a bit too much of a talk movie but the movie got better and better and managed to grab me. Especially that movie with the biggest moments of their marriage makes you think for a while. Drama with an occasional touch of humor, that's fine with me. 3.5 stars
