Nice.
Typically a movie that is suitable for Halloween. This movie is also a remake. I know an original of this, but haven't heard of it yet. I also saw that this has become a kind of Urban Legend.
Camilla Belle is not a top actress, but does not do badly in her somewhat limited role. The house often manages to give off a kind of atmosphere, and the mystery is done quite nicely. The feeling that you are sometimes being watched is strong.
It is nowhere very exciting, but you do have a reasonably successful horror film here. Perfect for a spooky night before Halloween but if you just want a quick and not too difficult horror movie.

Watch it now.....what a cliché movie. Soulless and increasingly annoying. What about the grueling journey from the house to the guest house. laughable.
The girl arouses no sympathy. And now, yes really....a scene with a shower curtain...
Yes, the climax is approaching .... oh no not ... she keeps wandering through that house. Hey, the kids are suddenly in a coffin. Suddenly it has become a haunted movie a la Friday the 13th. Fortunately, we also have a black cat that scares us. Hey, now the kids are missing again. She is strangled but she wins the fight from the strongman. And then there is always the same moment...the police. All's well that ends well...or not??? To top it all off, the last cliché. The nightmare....end.

Very mediocre and predictable thriller, with a main character who arouses little sympathy and you need that somewhere in such a film, just like the unimaginable. I especially thought there was a lot of nonsense and bad clichés in there, as already mentioned below. Max a 4/10 and then I'm still generous.
