"Trainspotting meets A Clockwork Orange"

As a boy, Frankie sees the world around him soaking itself in alcohol. His father is an idol for Frankie until he first reveals himself as a pathological liar. As a teenager, Frankie is the leader of a street gang. They live for music, expensive clothes and violence. A chance encounter with Helen opens Frankie's eyes to a world he never knew existed. He begins to break free from his identity as a gang member, causing the gang to turn against him. Frankie falls in love with Helen, but struggles to let go of the past and everything is doomed to fail. When his life seems to be slipping again, he falls back on the familiar pattern of violence and alcohol.
