A bit unfortunately pushed into the background by the similar Blair Witch Project, but actually rightly so. Although The Last Broadcast preceded Blair Witch, it is beaten on all fronts by the latter. Both in terms of tension, acting, group dynamics, and story. A nice attempt to recreate the concept of "found footage" from Cannibal Holocaust, but alas...at no point does the film deliver the suspense it promises.

Useless.

Nicely conceived but downright boring addition to the faux-docu subgenre. The most unexpected and exciting films often pass by from this side, and I hoped that this film would have the same kind of effect. After seeing the film I came to the conclusion that I either really liked these films or didn't like them at all.

As many readers can guess by looking at the numbers, this is not exactly a strong film. I found it especially boring with a very limited amount of strong scenes. The movie does have them though, and when they come it's fine. To get to those scenes you just have to scramble through stupid nonsense for a long time.

Everyone in this film seems to be from another planet. This is clearly intentional for some roles and they form the interesting characters. Other characters can only talk weakly and suck the energy out of me. Without energy it becomes difficult to stay with the film. It's a shame that they can keep so little effect from a promising concept.

The ending is somewhat surprising and some of the images are nice, otherwise this is a very boring event that cannot really achieve anything good. It's not scary, ominous or interesting enough to keep you interested repeatedly. It might work for some people. However, that is not the case for this film, and the grade is accordingly.
