Whimsical long-winded film in which characters are more concerned with what the outside world thinks of them is the love they feel for each other. Lots of repetitive dialogues, at some point we'll get it...
Film does not have a nice tempo, as mentioned earlier: it is a series of events in succession without a line or a certain atmosphere. Spike Lee's least I've seen. Unfortunately
2*

Good film in which a dark, married man starts a relationship with his white colleague. Certainly a product of its time zooming in on an interracial relationship. It mainly revolves around the reactions of the bystanders. The decent length is justified by the fact that there are also a number of side plots that fit well within the whole. A few strong dialogues and this film was their film debut for both Halle Berry and Queen Latifah.
