Not too good.

I really liked the first one. Not that I remember much of it, not even what I liked about it, but that 3.5* must be there for a reason. It wasn't memorable, but it was entertaining. Unfortunately, that cannot be said of this second part.

This is especially bland. Probably because of the somewhat perfunctory girl power variant, especially because Moretz and company do not immediately radiate much girl power. That can partly be blamed on her, on the other hand I didn't see a single female writer, even though there are 5 (!) credited. A bit crazy for someone who doesn't know how to surprise you.

A good joke here and there, but too much college humor. Haha weed and stuff, apparently they can still laugh very hard in America. In any case, the whole frat thing is pretty stupid, the only one who actually comes out really nice is Efron. You wouldn't give it to him, but he has some comedic talent.

Not a disaster to see once, but as many hits as misses and not immediately a film that will stay with you for a long time. In the end, the first one didn't either, but at least the journey there was a lot funnier.

2.0*

Not good.

While part 1 at times still came out nice, that doesn't work at all here. Something like the airbag scene that was fun in part 1 has just been copied over here and that doesn't do the film any good. Rose and Byrne return to their roles and they do that a little less .

Personally, the movie just isn't really funny anymore. Moretz is a good actress, but she knows very little about this. Just like the other female opponents, by the way. The story is a bit the same again, but a bit more annoying.

The idea was nice, to put down women instead of male opponents this time, but does that work out well? Not really. This sequel can therefore not call itself very successful.

With the prospect of a second child on the horizon, Mac [Seth Roden] and Kelly Radner [Rose Byrne] sell their house and think they can move into their new home in a quiet suburb with peace of mind. But the new residents use an arrangement that gives them the right to cancel the agreement within 30 days if something about the house or the environment does not suit them. Mac and Kelly are distraught when they learn that Shelby [Chloë Grace Moretz] along with friends Beth [Kiersey Clemons] and Nora [Beanie Feldstein] have rented the former club house with the aim of partying. Plus, Teddy Sanders [Zac Efron] returns when his now-graduate friends decide to get married and ask Teddy to move. Teddy makes a deal with the girls from Kappa Nu, sparking yet another battle between the Radners and their wild partying neighbors. While in many ways this is a replay of moves (the opening is pretty much identical), it does away with the idea that only guys want to party and shows that girls can rule the college world (and the party scene) without taking themselves too seriously. to take. It's hard to hold back laughing when a group of girls are enthusiastically partying to 2 Live Crew's "We Want Some Pussy". Times change!
