Poet i Tsar plot

Tsar Nicholas I turns a blind eye to the critical stance of the popular writer Aleksandr Puskin. He has a soft spot for Pushkin's wife Natalya, whom he occasionally confides in. The Dutch Baron van Heeckeren therefore urges his son Georges d'Anthès to court Natalya. But the jealous Pushkin soon realizes what's going on.
