"The motion picture above all!"
Two members of an exclusive gentlemen's club tell each other three supernatural stories. In the first story, an ugly woman puts on a mask to seduce the man of her dreams; in the second story, an honest, kind man hears from a fortuneteller that he will kill someone; and in the third, a tightrope walker is plagued by nightmares in which he falls to pieces during his performance.
