The men who once fought alongside Charles II against Cromwell have not recovered from the war and are now on the list to be hanged. The daughter of one of the victims comes over from France to prove his innocence and joins a gang of thieves who have obtained the death list from the Duke, the real thief. They even want to steal the crown jewels to help her.
