The young nurse June has been happily married for some time to the wealthy art dealer Geoffrey Arland, who ends up in a wheelchair after a motorcycle accident. One day, June saves the life of pilot Ben Hoadey, who has to make an emergency landing due to a heart attack. Ben is very grateful to her, and the two begin to feel more for each other.
