Daleká Cesta plot
The Jewish female ophthalmologist Hana Kaufmannová falls in love with the non-Jewish Toník and marries him. In the 'Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia', which is now occupied by the Nazis, all kinds of anti-Semitic laws come into force, making the lives of Hana and Toník no easier. For example, Hana is removed from office and Jews are no longer allowed to go to the theater. In the end, Hana and her family also have to move to Theresienstadt.

Handy application of that split screen with transitions to archive images and back to
the story, so that you also get a general impression of the Nazis, certainly in the light of the
year when the film was made a good move. With expert editing and also the camera does
very nice stuff. With some scenes by the way in which a crazy commander, who of the madness
apparently barely knows what to do with his sadism. Quite hilarious, even from the mind of a
Tarantino could have come. Not meant to be funny of course, but mainly to
madness of Nazism. In any case, you already get a striking image in this film
of the gruesome fate of the Jews.
