1947. During a major storm that devastates the small town of Hokkaido, a man takes advantage of the confusion that arises. In a bizarre night, he sets a fire, commits a theft and commits a murder. He manages to escape. Ten years later: The perpetrator lives in a hotel room under a different name. One day, however, he is called by a prostitute. She appears to have seen him on the day in 1947 and wants to talk.
