Seen the original for more than 11 years, and much to my delight. With a slightly anarchic tone.
vinnie jones was once a real professional footballer himself, which made it just that little bit more fun.
now saw the US remake decades later. And it certainly didn't disappoint.
nice couple of actors together. it was a little less villainous than the original.
but really just a good comedy.
with a nice varied soundtrack.

I gave this 2* a while ago, but after seeing Mean Machine (2001) tonight I understand that this is just a rock hard rip-off. Just a straight copy, not original anywhere. Time to adjust the number.
