Pesn o Gerojach (Komsomol) plot

Documentary about the construction of blast furnaces by the communist workers' youth organization Komsomol, made as part of the first Five Year Plan of the Soviet Union. With shots in Magnitogorsk in the Urals, where within a few years an industrial city of 200,000 inhabitants was stamped out of the steppe soil, and the Kusbas Basin in Siberia. The film is a tribute to the achievements of the volunteers, the Komsomol, who are made up of various ethnic groups from the Soviet Union.
